Mr. Dalton is a director of Moss Adams Capital LLC. In this capacity, he works with owners and managers who wish to increase the value of their business through the exploration of strategic and capital markets alternatives. Strategies may include acquisitions, raising growth capital or pursuing full or partial liquidity through a recapitalization or sale of the business.
Previously, Mr. Dalton was a senior member of Barclays Capital’s and Lehman Brothers’ west coast investment banking practices, working closely with corporate and private equity clients on a broad range of advisory and capital markets transactions. He also was a member of Lehman Brothers’ Mergers and Acquisitions team in New York. Prior to joining Moss Adams, Mr. Dalton spent more than two years as CFO of an angel-funded developer of photovoltaic solar power systems and a venture backed Internet business where he led all finance, tax, legal, accounting and operational activities. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dalton worked with Citigroup Capital Markets, advising privately held, middle market business owners. Mr. Dalton is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young.
Mr. Dalton earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Duke University.
